• Yes, this item is an authentic device sold by Best Buy. Best Buy is a decades old, reputable retailer of electronics. Best Buy (THANKFULLY) doesn't partake in that 3rd party retailer nonsense other major retailer sites do.

• I purchased this at the Best Buy store near my house. If it was not authentic I doubt they would sell it. Plus they have a warranty policy so I am confident with the purchase.
