“How are you going to prevent people from just buying the PS5, redeeming the code and then returning it back to Best Buy? I can see a lot of people doing this just for the exclusive cosmetics which will be worth hundreds of dollars later on.”

They're not going to be able to. But they also can't sell the product as NEW once it has been returned. It will be listed as Open Box. As open box policy, it will be cheaper than new, and may or may not contain download codes. Anyone who wants to be sure to get the codes will just buy a NEW console, NOT open box.

It’s sucks since I held up my end of the deal, but this big business doesn’t have provide the entire product they offered, and won’t even try to solve the issue. They just care about $, and they got mine already, so I’m sol.
