A:AnswerI'm currently in the middle of formatting or I'd pull it up tongive you the exact write speed however it is fast that is for sure. That is one of the good things I've found thus far about it isnthat the value of the product is a good value as I've never had a drive that transfers this fast. If you need to transfer a single file bigger than 5GB you'll need to format though but a folder of contents totaling more than 5GB formatting isn't required. It transfered over 5GB folder in less than a minute. So probably around 75MB/s which is fast but not 100MB/ which makes sense as the write speed labeled for a drive is usually not what it is going to function as so I understand that concern fully. Oh and that speed is based off of FAT32 which is the default. How it will run in NFTS I hope doesn't become so Id say determine it based on the format you need to use.
