• The port portion is metal. The end cap that you can attach a lanyard to is plastic.

• Yes the part that goes into the female USB socket is metal. There is a plastic part on the end though.

• The outside of the usb conector is metal but on the inside of the usb connect has a blue plastic electronic board.
