I'm using it on Xbox one no issues. Your 360 won't have usb 3.0 so you'll be limited to 2.0 speeds but it should still work.

Yes. Simply plug it into an available USB and the Xbox will detect it then ask if you want to use it for captures and video or apps/games. Format to your preference.
