Hello, While your machine does indeed accept 1600MHz modules, this is not the correct part. Your machine requires low voltage (LV, 1.35V) memory. You can upgrade to 16GB max of DDR3L 1600MHz memory. As you are running a 64bit operating system the computer will utilize all of the memory. PNY Brand Champion
