I purchased this RAM as an after-market upgrade for my 2012 MacBook Pro, and it feels like I have a brand new computer. It was super easy to install myself. I recommend anyone with a MBP that allows easy RAM replacement to upgrade.

I was able to pick up this kit of RAM (2x8GB = 16GB) in store, in stock, and locally at a much better price than anywhere online. The RAM is specified at a faster, yet compatible, speed than my 2011 MacBook Pro is rated at. The packaging was clearly labeled with the compatible supported speed/spec's and matched that of the early 2011 MacBook Pro. Upgrading the stock 4GB RAM to this massive 16GB RAM boosted the performance of the laptop enough to make it act like a near-new machine providing a whole new, and much more pleasant, experience.

This RAM works well in my mac. It was easy to install and it still works great two years later.

Bought this locally after the associate told me it would work in my new HP mini (chromebox-style) (blue tupperwear-style box) Windows 8.1 PC that came with 2 GB of RAM installed. I'm using it as a HTPC with Kodi/XBMC. I installed the two sticks easily and the computer only beeped and gave me a flashing front light when trying to boot. I tried different configurations to test each sick then installed only the original memory. This is apparently not low-voltage-compatible RAM. I could not find any detailed info on this spec for this set of memory. I ended up installing it in an existing Mac Mini and instantly saw a performance boost. I bought another popular brand of memory from a Big NY camera retailer (memory starts with a cr and ends in ucial) that specifically stated it was designed for low-voltage PCs for a lower price. It's working great in the HP. So one star reduction for lack of detailed info on the packaging and websites regarding voltage requirements.

I needed the ram for a game I was trying to play, called ark, it immediately improved my performance both in, and outside of the game, I have a lenovo y50, and was concerned about compatibilty, but was quickly impressed by the ease at which I installed it, and the seamlessness of the experience this product provides.

I purchased the additional memory for a new iMac. Hardly a glamorous purchase--it sits quietly in the machine, out of sight and out of mind. Out of mind is probably a good thing--the machine with the additional memory works well, there seems to be no problem, and I never think about it. The memory was on sale when I bought it, an additional plus.

My computer was moving so slow and freezing. I thought I had a virus. I ran it by my instructor and once I went thru my pc, it was virus free. I was slowly getting behind in my assignments. Finally bit the bullet and upgraded the memory to 16GB. OMG it functions like a new pc. The install was easy.

The memory worked great and and was as advertised. I had no issues with the computer reliably reading the memory and it has been working great for about a month. Looking forward to a long useful time with it.

Installed this ram in our Dell all in one computer, going from 4gb or ram to the 16b was a very nice upgrade. Ram was recognized by the computer right away and is working great.

I used these on my Mac mini i 7 quad core and they work great. I use it for digital art work and it doesn't lag at all. Fair price worth the money even at retail cost

If I knew something outstanding about it, I could give it five stars, but all I know is that the computer recognizes the additional RAM and it certainly seems to speed things up.

Upgrading the RAM is an easy upgrade most people can do. I purchased a new HP Probook that came with 4GB of RAM. I maxxed it out by adding this 16 GB kit. It's an excellent way to significantly improve the performance of your machine and it's easy enough for novices to do successfully. The price is significant, but for the improvement you get and the ease of installation it's a great option that I highly recommend.

Easy to install, doubled my memory and though not faster operating, it is faster switching from app to app as i have much more memory for them to reside in all at once. Great!

I own a Mac Mini and when I bought it, it only came with 4 gigs of ram. I am a professional photographer and I work in RAW format and us Lightroom and Photoshop to edit my work. I was on a very small budget starting out and I could not afford an iMac or Mac Pro so I decided to go with the Mac Mini to get started. When I first started using the it to edit photos I had to restart my Mac about every 5th photo (not good when you are a wedding photographer editing hundreds of images). But ever since I upgraded my ram to 16gb from 4gb I have been able to do a whole wedding with no problems! No it is a no brainer that more ram will equal improved performance but what i loved about it too that the cost was much less then what Apple wanted (for the same performance specs). I am very happy with this and once I am able to upgrade this will be a great work station Mac for the office. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 was because I do not want people to miss understand, while the upgrade was great it is still not as powerful as I would like it to be, but that comes down to the limitation on my MAC. I would always recommend maxing out your RAM to 32gbs or higher. 16gbs is a great place to start but it will still prove to have limitations for working with video editing software.

Upgraded my late 2012 Mac mini to 16gb for game development. Upgrade went smoothly and Yosemite works much better now.

Product works as expected. Installed in my MacBook Pro: install was very easy, and the RAM increase has improved performance more than expected.

This item gotten on a deal of the day and with taxes was just under $60.00 No issue putting it into a 5 year old laptop to bump my memory from 8GB to 16GB. No issues and no random reboots. Speed of application loading is greatly improved and overall all software running more smoothly. The speed so far per several memory test programs is as advertised.

I was not used to installing on any device, including my hp laptop. The staff at was wonderful and helped me pick the correct Item that was needed to SPEED my laptop up. And I must say that it worked like a charm, unfortunately the laptop was stolen a week later, so I bought a new HP from Best Buy and it is even better, BestBuy really hooked it up. Thanks!!! You guys Rock! I hope to get the other computer back so I can really get to enjoy the product that the staff worked with me to get! I love best buy and will continue to shop there!!

I purchased the memory because I wanted to upgrade my laptop. When I purchased the memory I also purchased an upgrade for my OS as well. It worked great... then disaster... my laptop's motherboard went bad.. it had nothing to do with the memory or OS.. it was a defective motherboard. Unfortunately, I had to return the memory.. the Best-Buy representative was very empathetic and he refunded my purchase amount.. NO QUESTIONS ASKED! It's always a pleasure doing business with a company that treats their customers with dignity and respect!
