• The cover is NOT removed from the USB drive. Rather, the drive slides through the cover.

• The cover slides back. It is tight and secure to start. As you use it though it frees up. Even though it opens as a USB 2.0 and it works almost as well as the 3.0 series.

• There is no separate cover. Just slide the portion covering the e nd back to allow it to be plugged in.

• There is no separable cover for this flash drive. Just hold the body and push the end, you can easily slide the USB port out. When finishing use it, just slide it back for protection.

• The clear cover slides back. Mine were very tight! You can see how it meshes together when you slide back the sheath.
