• Yes it will work in your laptop. That is your maximum you can have. They normally come with 4, 6, or 8. There are 2 slots inside. Just a tedious task getting to the location they go in. Be extra careful not to strip the screws when removing.

• That should work if the number of pins matches. Your system is good up to 16gb IF you're running a 64 bit version of windows.
