If u still have the instructions or the sticker that came on it saying what and how much it can handle. Divide that by 2 and you have your answer. But did you try and turn them around put the one you know that works in the bad side it could be the ram stick they do go bad . And make sure u take and get it all the way down till the pins snap shut to be sure that the only way without taking it in to tell yourself.
