• No. That laptop only supports up to 4 GB and uses DDR2 RAM. This RAM is 8 GB and is DDR3.

• Have a Lenovo T420 they work in that. Tried Chips in a Dell Latitued E6420 and E6410 and they didn't work. Have no experience with a Dell D830.
