• This will NOT work with an iMAC. iMac machines require SO-DIMM(laptop memory), which has a smaller footprint than this. Please don't listen to the person who says this actually worked in their iMac because it doesn't.

• Yes it will I had to 4 gigs and I upgraded to two 8 gigs sticks also
