QuestionDo I need this in order to run VR? I'm buying my first PC ever and I want one that can use VR and I found one that says VR ready but it also has this in the bundle? I'm a total noob when it comes to anything about PC so I was wondering if I need this

- Answer The ram memory is necessary for most games now is 16 gigs. 32 gigs is better. The graphics card will be equally important 1080 g force is a good one. You may get by with less but if you want to play with out having to tinker with the dispay settings the beefier the ram and graphics card the better. These will all increase the power consumption and may need a larger power supply. I built a computer for my son and used a 300 sieries mother board ( ROG Maximus Hero X ) with i 7 PROCESSOR AND A SEA HAWK WATER COOLED 1080 GRAPHICS CARD WITH ONLY 16 GIG RAM (WISHED I DID 32 GIG) AND FIGURED I NEEDED 850 WATT power supply to make sure enough at max consumption.

- Answer It is compatible with AMD processors that can run DDR4 despite what the AMD site may say (I have tested this on several FX series) but please check with PNY for exacts compat. Your motherboard will most likely be an issue for DDR4. Many AMD processors produced before 2014 do not support DDR4 so please use the link. Customer service has always answered me in one or 2 days. https://www.pny.com/support/contact-us. Hope this helps. And if anything sell your HP mobo on ebay and buy yourself an Asrock, MSI etc to really get some use out of that APU/CPU.

- Answer This will NOT work with an iMAC. iMac machines require SO-DIMM(laptop memory), which has a smaller footprint than this. Please don't listen to the person who says this actually worked in their iMac because it doesn't.
