• DDR3 and DDR4 are two different types of memory and DDR4 is not backward compatible with DDR3. Please check with your motherboard manufacturer for additional specifications and information. PNY Brand Champion

• No DDR3 is different the DDR four it will not fit in the same slot I made The same mistake first

• No. DDR3 and DDR4 are two completely socket sets. A motherboard that has DDR4 RAM sockets will not fit DDR3 and vice versa. Either your motherboard accepts DDR3 or DDR4 RAM, not both.
