It is compatible with AMD processors that can run DDR4 despite what the AMD site may say (I have tested this on several FX series) but please check with PNY for exacts compat. Your motherboard will most likely be an issue for DDR4. Many AMD processors produced before 2014 do not support DDR4 so please use the link. And if anything sell your HP mobo on ebay and buy yourself an Asrock, MSI etc to really get some use out of that APU/CPU.
