Your TV may only take 3.0 and above versions of the USB. This is a 2.0. Try a 3.0 USB to see if the TV will take that. If that doesn't work, then you are not activating the USB somehow or there is something wrong with the USB port on the TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Check with the smart TV specs....most likely the problem is that the file format of the movie may be compatible with a program on your computer, but that TV may only have .mp4 (for example) and you might be using .m4v .....similar but not the same and I’ve had that issue in the past
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Flash drives can be reformatted to hold larger files, this is clled NTFS. Only specific formats of movie files can be read by devices such as DVDs, BluRay & Smart tvs. Most movie files are .mkv which read fine on computers but .avi formars are what other devices recommend.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any Flash drive can have a movie installed to show on DVD, BluRay or smart tvs. You do need to format the drive first so that it can hold larger files. You would format to NTFS. Now most files are created as .mkv but most tvs will not read this format. The most useful files are those that are formatted as .avi. So the issue is not the drive but instead how its formatted and the file format that is installed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.not the flash drive but format of movie accepted by smart tv
