• Yes, I use my SSD with Linux if it had the correct connection on your computer (SATA 3, etc).

• all you need is a sata connection and a 3.5 to 2.5 adapter for the drive bay I used the ssd now brand adapter came with the screws this made a huge difference on my older dell with intel processor its like a new computer now, it was slow after windows 10 but not anymore
