Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you want to clone your hard drive to https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree and down load the free soft to clone your HDD to the SDD. It's easy and free. By having an SSD over a regular HDD the start up times will be much faster as the boot up drive. You can get a much larger HDD for a similar priced SDD as your main storage. I did this with an old Dell Optiplex 780. It boots up really quickly now with the boot up SSD. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can buy cloning software or find it for free that will clone the main drive to your new drive. This will require that you can connect both drives at the same time if that’s not possible you can purchase usb 3.0 to sata adapters to connect the drive via usb.

Please try again later. No this is a 2.5 inch form factor drive. you best bet for more storage on this laptop would be a 256gb mini sd card they are inexpensive and easy to install. Best buy has many options for these. Just make sure in the future when saving files or installing programs you change the default patch from your C:\ drive to you sd card which may be d,e or f: that way windows can use you 32gb main drive for updates and cache files.
