The short answer is that both MacBooks are not compatible with this kind of ssd. The 2019 MacBook has its internal drive soldered into the motherboard, so you may have to take it to an repair ship that specializes in newer apple products. However your 2013 MacBook Air does use a M.2 ssd, which is type of ssd form factor that you can buy.

Please try again later.2013 will work, BUT the device is EOL and APPLE will drop support soon if not already, it might not be worth fixing, I have used these drives on older supported SATA Based Macs/iMac..etc 2019 might not since there SSDs are NVME/SAUDERED On so APPLE will have to replace it.
