• Oh yes, certainly! You may need to google "how to enable TRIM in 2009-12 Mbp" to get full steam from any SSD, but it will work great!

• Not sure, since I installed this into a Windows PC. However, if the SATA specs are identical, should be no issue. Check to see your hard drive requirements first.
