Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on the laptop. A good number of laptops uses a 2.5” HDD for storage. They can be swapped out with these 2.5in” SSD as the pretty much have the same ports. However you have to clone whatever was on the old HDD son the laptop to the new SSD. You then have to actually physically get into the laptop, which may be easy for older systems but can be quite difficult on newer ones. Again it depends on the laptop itself. Also should mention that some of the newer laptops uses other types of storage, like an m.2 SSD, which is a smaller kind of storage so a 2.5” SSD would probably be a no go.
