It will hold more photos than you probably have. It’s based on you picture size and how many MB’s, resolution and pixel size. Most photos are less than 1-3 mb 1 mb x 1000 mb = 1GB so photos of 1 mb would hold 64000 pictures if he drive is 64 GB.
