• A:Answer Photos take space as do apps. Freeing up space by transferring photos to the drive (remember to go to Photos on iPad and clear Recently Deleted), can he very helpful for the apps. I have one app myself that keeps bugging me about space all the time. Darn those gaming screenshots!
