• It's like the iXpand with a USB connector on one end and a lightning connector on the the other. However DuoLink is 3.0 and iXpand is 2.0.

• Yes it has a regular USB polite I don't know about the other item you mentioned

• The Duo-Link and the IXpand both have both types of connectors and both work exactly as advertised. I own both of them

• Yes the it has a regular USB connector one end, and lightning on the other. The USB is hidden until you need to use it.
