Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely, and that’s a great option if you don’t have your files backed up to iCloud or some other cloud based service. You will need to copy all of your folders on the MacBook to the flash drive individually, then copy files down from the flash drive to your new computer. Note that this will not copy any software apps such as Excel, Word, or PowerPoint. I am a Windows user, so I don’t know all the intricacies of a Mac. However, I highly recommend subscribing to a cloud-based automatic backup solution to protect all of your data. I have had to change out computers over the past few years due to technical obsolescence or equipment failure. I have my critical files automatically backed up to Microsoft One Drive, which made restoration on my replacement computers very quick and easy. It might cost you a few bucks each year for a subscription, but it is well worth it. Good luck!
