• There is not. It is simply flash-drive. If you are wanting security on the drive.. all ScanDisk branded flash-drives come with the software you are referencing! Hope this helps!

• No. But you can encrypt file that you are saving using whatever backup program you use.

• There is an "operating system" on the stick which tells the computer that it is readable and offers users options of how to use the stick. But that program can probably be removed via reformatting the drive. I don't recommend reformatting the stick.
