the cover slides BACK,, not off
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It doesn’t slide off, you have to push the grey part down which uncovers the usb itself. I thought the same thing until we realized you push down and not pull off.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Dear Frustrated, It’s not supposed to come off. It slides back, down the shaft, revealing the usb. Like a turtle-neck, and no other things. That’s the trick! Sincerely Your Friendly Neighborhood Geek
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I took a pair of tweezers, and very slowly kept wedging it in the cracks, until I was eventually able to mangle the cover off. This has got to be the most poorly designed flash drive on the planet!
