You can upgrade if you motherboard can support

If you already have DDR4 ram in your system it will fit. Put it in the second and fourth slots if there are four slots. Go into bios after installing and scroll over to AI Tweaker and select memory profile then select XMP or DOCP or it will only be running at 2133mhz
