Absolutely yes. Depending on the model of your GT 710, you could see up to five times as many frames per second in many games. The GT 1030 does not need any supplemental power cables feeding into it as there are no ports for it; the power cord plugged into your motherboard is sufficient. NVidia recommends a 300W power supply, but you could *maybe* get by with a slightly lower wattage unit if you have a lower-end CPU.
