It depends on what the built-in graphics are - what the CPU is that's running it. But, chances are, most integrated graphics are out-classed by most dedicated graphics cards. This particular card actually does use SDDR4 ram - the same as most desktop memory - so you're not getting much there. But, it's not shared with system memory, and driven by a likely better GPU, so that could more than make up the difference.
