A:AnswerIt worked fine in my Alienware Andromeda R5 computer that had a pci express slot. The card did not fill the entire length of the slot, which made me wonder if it would work, but it did when I turned on the computer. Has been working great ever since.
A:AnswerIt has an HDMI output so yes it will work with it but it won't give you the full 4K resolution. It's maximum resolution is 2560x1600 and 4K is 3840 x 2160.
A:Answerit looks like the mobo on the 990 has a pci-e slot. This card is not compatible without an adapter which at the price is not worth the added effort. Also, make sure to always look up driver support for cards pertaining to your OS as well for easy setup, unsupported cards can be a nightmare to install.
A:AnswerYes. This card should work with your that computer. I looked up that model and says it has:
Interface Type: PCI Express x16
Graphics Processor: NVIDIA GeForce GT 220
Video Memory: 1 GB
You will have to remove that GT 220 card and replace with the new GT 710. Good luck hope it works.
A:AnswerI would say NO, but the minimum requirements says different. Using this card your renders will take a very long time.
Hardware Requirements for Blender:
Minimum
64-bit dual core 2Ghz CPU with SSE2 support
4 GB RAM
Graphics card with 1 GB RAM, OpenGL 3.3
Recommended
64-bit quad core CPU
16 GB RAM
Graphics card with 4 GB RAM
Optimal
64-bit eight core CPU
32 GB RAM
Graphics card with +12 GB RAM
A:AnswerNot sure. The literature says a 300w power supply, but that would also depend on the other components in the computer. The spec sheet lists a TDP of 19W, but I do not exactly know what TDP means in this context. I do not recall seeing an additional literature in the box.
