If I’m understanding your question correctly, you are asking how to update your NVIDIA driver. Go to NVIDIA website and check for an update for your drivers. The RAM you installed does keep your computer/laptop from being bogged down. The RAM shouldn’t have anything to do with your graphics card. I hope this was helpful.

However if your graphics driver needs an update, I suggest you go to your manufacturer website, and search for make and model of your laptop, and they generally have them available there.
