Check with Crucial memory. If current memory is DDR-4 2600 MH 8 gig, you can put 16 gig or 32 gig 3200 memory in.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can check the HP website for your specific model. Check memory slots. Check the speeds of the memory that is compatible with your laptop. You will have to have the 8gb memory stick removed if you want to use the 16gb stick. Or else the memory may not work with each other, possible blue screen. If you have at least 2 slots, go for 2 16gb sticks, if you can.
