My granddaughter clips it to everything
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's quite sturdy. The photo doesn't reflect the quality of the clip but it appears to be very durable. I don't allow my daughter to clip hers on her backpack for fear of someone stealing the item but, I believe the clip would hold up just fine.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the hook is definitely safe enough to hook it to your backpack. I hook mine to the inside of my backpack and it stays put all day. I have quite a lot of heavy books and things that weigh down my backpack, and the hook to this still stays on. Like is said I hook mine on the inside, but if you want to hook yours to the outside it’s definitely going to stay.
