• That's likely what it means. Anything other than a new, unopened Pokeball Plus will probably not have a Mew with it.

• Probably :( I used the Mew in Sword, then decided to go back to Let’s Go and the Mew is in Sword. Also here is a tip if you are strolling with a Poke in one game don’t switch games you will loose any growth with that Poke
