It also includes Mew, a mythical Pokémon, which is a plus for many customers. However, some customers find the price to be a bit high and have experienced connectivity issues with Pokémon Go.

My son ask me to get this for his Pokémon game on the Switch. He said he needs it to catch Pokémon. I’m not too sure that it’s worth the high price but would buy it if it’s less. (Which I did buy it on sale). Nonetheless, it’s a great addition for your Nintendo game accessories. Let’s just hope he doesn’t break it soon enough.

I enjoy using this controller. It’s more like throwing a real ball. This controls can be a little sensitive, but overall I would rather use this controller than the joys-cons that come with the Nintendo Switch.

The joystick feels like the one on a joycon controller (for better or for worse) and the rubber outside is really nice. Would not recommend carrying around everywhere because the rubber is very prone to small chunk cuts.
(I got it for 20 dollars and would probably not recommend it any higher than that)

I brought this Poke Ball Plus to go with Let's Go, Pikachu Nintendo Switch Game for our 6 year old daughter Easter Basket gift. Pretty neat Poke Ball to play to catch the pokemons and can use handheld Pokeball instead of on the handheld console. So glad to be able to buy this Poke Ball Plus with game on same day curbside pick up.

I kind of consider this a waste of money, unless you're a HUGE Pokemon fan that wants all of the things. I got it for my daughter and she loved it, for about a week. It lights up and makes sounds depending on what Pokemon you put inside of it. You can also use it as a controller for Pokemon Lets Go! Evee/Pikachu. It's durable, and has withstood a 6 year olds and 3 year olds abuse for months now. Once I accidentally threw it across the room and hit our refrigerator and it left a dent on the fridge but the pokeball was fine (USE THE WRIST STRAP PEOPLE).

I'd actually give this a 4.5-4.7 stars if I could.
I absolutely love it. For young kids getting into Pokemon for the first time via let's go Eevee/ Pikachu or long time fans this pokeball is awesome.
Experience walking with pokeball:
I love have something to fiddle with in my hand and the benefits you get inside pokemon let's go Evee/Pikachu for walking with it are a pretty big perk. It also comes with Mew inside the ball to transfer into your game right away!
Pokeball style:
The pokeball is light enough not to bother your finger/wrist but has a decent weight to it. It's not a hard plastic feels more like a soft plastic or rubber on the outside. I have dropped it and hit it against things my accident and so far it doesn't not show signs of breaking or even wear & tear. I was also shocked by how good the sound quality is! The port is a bit hard to open and the white part of the ball gets dirty fast, with no instructions on how to clean it.
Poke ball as a controller:
It works really well as a controller in the game but does take some getting used to when throwing pokemons in game due to there not being a 'true' up/down like the controllers since it's round. Also there is no tutorials for controls! This isn't that big of a deal because the functionality is there but it took me forever to figure out you have to shake the ball to open your bag and filters (shaking acts as the 'y' button on the controller).
Poke-balls compatibility with Pokemon Go:
Once you get it hooked up it's awesome! But it does take a bit more effort to set up than the watch and a bit more confusing.
Best Buy:
I did there in- store pick up for this item and it was fantastic. They had it ready for pick up within an hour of me ordering it. The pick up desk was right next to the door, and there was only one person in front of me in line so I was in and out in 5 minuets. Service so super friendly and quick!

Is great handheld, but definitely smaller. As many have stated, those with bigger hands may cramp up as it is quite small in size. Approx 1.5in diameter. It's fun, and compatible with both the Switch game and PokemonGo on Mobile. It also does not come with instructions so it may take a while to get used to the full functionality and controls.

I got this controller to use with Let’s Go Eevee and it works perfectly. I far prefer using it over the joy con and the charge lasts forever, but I can’t deny that it costs far more than it is worth. The controller comes with Mew, but only one, so don’t expect everyone with an account on your switch to be able to claim it. I do like that it has sound and vibration effects, but it doesn’t always throw the ball in the direction you swing it, especially when the Switch is not connected to a tv. Ultimately it’s a novelty item, so use your best judgement.

My kid is obsessed with pokemon so we got him this to play "Lets go Pikachu".
At first he was very excited at the sounds and vibrations it made and receiving Mew as a bonus. But these were not enough to keep him wanting to use it.
Its very easy to accidentally hold it wrong which makes using it more difficult for kids. For adults this isn't a problem but the fact it only has two buttons does make using it annoying for any function other than catching pokemon.
You're basically paying $60 for a novelty controller that's less functional than a normal one and is only compatible with like two existing games...
I guess it all depends on how much you want Mew.

My family relative loves this little pokeball controller, it's made with solid quality material, even now with them using it all the time, theres no fading or discoloration.
Must have Let's go Pikachu or Eevee to use.
Not worth the 50 bucks but I did get 10% off which helped ease the price and of course getting that Pay 2 Win mew.
Very easy to connect to your switch in seconds too which is cool for the less technologically advanced.

I purchased this mainly for Pokemon Go. The Poke Ball Plus auto spins PokeStops and allows you to catch pokemon with a press of a button. The only con really is that if you do decide to try and catch pokemon with it, the flee rate is a lot higher than if you were to try and catch normally and it can only use the regular pokeballs and not the great or ultra balls. I mainly use this for Community Days. The Poke Ball Plus auto spins the pokestops for supplies so I can focus on catching everything in sight.

The Poke Ball Plus connects easily with iOS devices. I haven't tried with android. It auto spins Poke Stops as long as there's a pokemon in the Poke Ball. It comes with a Mew so it works even without connecting it first with the Pokemon: Let's Go game on the Nintendo Switch. If Poke Ball Plus is connected, the game still works in the background even if the phone is locked. Battery life is probably 3-5 days on 2-3 hours use per day. It comes with USB type C cable and works with a standard wall charger (does not come with a charger, just the cable). It lights up and vibrates when a Pokemon or Poke Stop is nearby. There is no way to disable either vibration or light notification on the Poke Ball. Settings to disable notification for nearby Pokemon or Poke Stop is available in the Pokemon Go App. If all nearby notifications are disabled in the game, distance traveled can still be tracked even with phone locked and stowed away.

I really like this Pokémon ball. It does come with a mew, but can only be redeemed ONE time, so make sure you make a good decision on which version of the game you Want to download it to. Ones you sync it up to pokemon go you can just walk around and these are features ive discovered.
1. Catch pokemon (When in range), by pressing the top button(must have regular pokeball, will NOT throw the great or ultra balls)
2.spin pokestop(when in range)by pressing top button. If you have placed a pokemon in your pokeball from your nintendo switch cartridges the pokemon will spin the pokestop all by themselves.
3.it can be used as a controller for lets go pikachu and eevee. It will NOT work as a controller for sword or shield.
4. When you bring a pokemon back to your Nintendo switch after playing pokemon go you will receive items like berries and candies that your pokemon has found while inside the pokeball.
5. Battery life is good usually i play every weekend for about 2-4 hours usually dont have to recharge it until my fourth weekend
6. Only draw back is that it only one MEW pokemon is redeemed. And that it will only allow you to use regular pokeballs, NOT your great or ultra balls.

This is a really awesome controller!
It was super easy to set up to the Nintendo Switch. It recognized it immediately which was great.
The functionality of this controller is pretty good too. The little joystick on it feels really smooth when controlling your character around the map and the motion controls feel pretty spot on.
What's great about this controller is that you can also put any pokemon from your Let's Go Pikachu or Let's Go Eevee inside the controller and when you walk around with it your pokemon levels up and if you shake it you can hear your pokemon inside which was a fun little touch.

Get the insurance for it from Best Buy, its well worth the money. Especially due to how fragile it is.
I love this pokeball as it enables me to get candies for my pokemon in Let's Go, and let's me level up my pokemon when I can't play due to my busy schedule. Its also a must have for Go if youre always driving, or can't have the game open all the time. The pokeball hits every pokestop (or tries to at least) I pass by so long as its connected to Go on my phone.
Only problems I have with ut is that theres no real protective cases for it that really fit besides the ones Hori made for JAPAN ONLY, which irritates me. It gets dirty really easily, and has trouble connecting to my phone sometimes. Also if my switch is nearby and I hit the top button it automatically connects to the switch. Even does it when I'm trying to connect to my phone on occasion.
Overall I really love this product. Just wish they would fix the connection issues, and make it so it does not automatically connect to my switch unless I'm being asked to connect it to return or take a pokemon for/from a stroll. But those are just minor irritating issues that can be fixed with a few simple updates/patches.

I really have enjoyed using this to play Pokémon Let's Go instead of the joy cons as I find it more fun to use when trying to catch Pokémon. I've tried it a few times with Pokémon Go and it has worked well the times I've used it. Getting Mew was a nice bonus to buying the ball. It isn't a necessary buy, but I'm glad I have one.

Pros
Nice looking size, almost to the real thing.
For the price of $34 isn't so bad. Would of been better of $20.
Cons
Isn't big enough for that price.
There is not much you can do with it.
Only would recommend this if the can fair price of $25 but over that isn't worth the money.

At first I wasn’t sure wanted this, but after using this I had no regrets. It adds a fun interactive game experience with the Pokémon let’s go game. And if used with the Pokémon go phone app, is a awesome way to quickly level up Pokémon in your game. I highly recommend if you enjoy the Pokémon games.
