“This heart rate monitor does not read my heart rate when I put it on even when I already have a high hear rate. Has anyone had this problem?”

• My FT4 is new out of the package and has only worked properly 3x. I have followed all the instructions available both In the included pamphlet and online recommendations,m. I have verified location and positioning of chest strap, ensured it is cleaned and dry after each use and wet when placed on my body. I have replaced the batteries in both the watch and the chest strap monitor and still no luck. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

• I have had this issue occasionally, however, when I add moisture to the sensor, it works.

• It's a common occurrence. It's your normal wear & tear after a year of use.
