“Does this monitor work for swimming? I swim during my workouts and would love to have a monitor that gave me my fullworkout results. I see the watch is waterproof. How about the strap? Does it function under water for normal swimming? If not, please recommend a Polar model that does function under water.”

• David -Yes, you can use both the watch and chest strap in the water. When using it in the water, you'll want to pull the chest strap tighter to the body to help minimize the volume of water that gets between you and the strap - Mike @ Polar USA

• Yes. Specs say it is good to 30 ft depth. Also, I wash it after ever use in water and then dry it off.
