“I am thinking of getting this to use with my iPhone 6 and was wondering if it works with the apple health app that is pre-installed and if it does work are there any limitations versus using the company's app? Thanks!”

The H7 will work with the Apple Health app on the phone. You can also connect Polar's 'Beat' application to the health app as a source for it's data - Mike@PolarUSA
