They claim the Bluetooth extends to roughly 30 feet. You can set the Bluetooth to not be visible to others, so your watches and heart rates do not interfere with each other.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Bill - The transmission range of the H7 Bluetooth Smart heart rate sensor (that is sold with the M400) is considerable. One could experience up to 30 feet of range between the sensor and the watch. As for using it in close proximity with another Polar unit, you need not to worry. The pairing process that is required between the sensor and the watch will prevent interference. Finally, a chest strap dating from 7 years ago would not work with the M400 - Mike @ Polar USA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You should be absolutely fine if you're close. They band is paired with the watch specifically. This keeps them from doing that. HOwever there is a setting and depending on the bike u ride. The bike may also display your hr on its screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't think so because you pair each heart rate monitor to your specific watch and phone. Old heart rate monitors are not Bluetooth. I would ask polar to be sure but I'm thinking no.
