• yes this 600 does . the new 600 I type film for the new cameras does not have the battery, the battery is in the new camera. https://us.polaroid.com/

• It powered up my old 600 camera. If there’s any part of the camera that isn’t functioning it could be an internal camera hardware problem (ie flash)
