Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello I am an state licensed electrical contractor. We do smart houses and home integration which encompasses sound as well, surround and other. It is possible that you have a poor ground or a bad cord. Try checking your connection. If that fails I would return the subwoofer. Have a wonderful evening. Hope this helps. BTW I have a system like this and it performs very well. The sound is very versatile for different applications. I am old (67) and a little hard of hearing, but quite the audiophile my whole life. I think; especially for the money, this system is almost "Bad to the bone" for music, yet you can adjust the voice during television or when needed. This is good for the hard of hearing. Funny I can hear music excellently, yet people talking; especially with background noise, I have a problem with. Good Luck!
