No, all you need is the sound bar. You can plug it directly and simultaneously to your tv, your dvd and your tablet, as it has three inputs. Additionally you can connect using Bluetooth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No receiver needed. I just connected my soundbar directly to the tv using digital optical cable and it works great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I thought the same, but Tony at Best Buy set me straight. The sound bar is hooked directly to an Onkyo 6 disc player, no added amp. Fabulous sound!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Two seperate items
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure if I'm reading this right, but I'll take a stab at it. The sound bar is it's on receiver so all you would have to do is hook it up to a tv, or pair with phone/tablet/computer and it should work. It comes with an optical audio cabble to hook up your sound bar. I think there is also a hdmi port as well but I'm not certain on that part. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I can't give the Polk Audio soundbar a good rating. I got one and after a few weeks the volume would go straight to maximum. Polk Audio support was great! They sent me a new bar but that one did the same thing. Then they sent me a whole new unit and it worked somewhat. The base would come and go and I could never get it paired to my TV remote nor could I get the supplied remote to work. I took it back and got a different brand
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, you do not need a separate receiver of audio amp, everything you need is built in.
