“How is it 5.1 if it only has two speakers and a subwoofer?”

It is not 5.1. It is a 3.1 system. 3 speakers in the bar plus the subwoofer. The 3rd center speaker controls voices and can be turned up or down independently to better hear dialogue. The sound quality is excellent, and I would highly recommend.

Its not going to be a true 5.1 experience but this soundbar is capable of deciding the 5.1 signal and it does a good job of making it seem as if there are speakers behind you. I chose it because it was one of the only ones at a lower price point that had a dedicated center channel. The sound output is pretty incredible for its size. I would definitely recommend this product.
