“The impedance states 4.1ohms in the specs. Is it really 4.1ohms? Other sites state 8ohms. I want to insure my Sony STRDH590 Receiver won't have an issue. It states speakers must be 6-16ohms.”

Hello, our speakers are designed to accept 4, 6, and 8 ohm impedance. They should work great with your Sony receiver.

Please try again later.The Polk Monitor XT owner's manual on the Polk Audio website states that the XT35 center channel speaker has a 4.2 ohm minimum impedance (and their XT30 center channel speaker has a 4.1 ohm minimum impedance), which is certainly why they also state that the amplifier powering these speakers should support 4 ohms. It doesn't seem like this speaker is the best choice for the Sony STRDH590 receiver.
