• A:Answer Hello Brandy, The Onkyo TX-SV343 is a fairly old receiver that pushes 60 watts per channel into 8Ω. If it is still working and in good condition, then it should be able to power the Monitor XT60. If there are any issues with the amplification of the receiver, then you may want to look into upgrading your AVR to a newer model to which we usually recommend Denon.

• A:Answer Hello, This is a passive speaker that requires an amp or AVR to be powered. It does not have bluetooth standalone. You can take a look at our soundbars and other powered speakers that feature bluetooth if you are looking for a speaker that can function like this.

• A:Answer Hello, This receiver can certainly drive these speakers but you might find that a stronger receiver might do better in terms of allowing this speaker to really open up and provide better sound. We usually pair our speakers with Denon or Marantz units and find they go quite nicely with their receivers.

• A:Answer Hi Luis - If you are running a 2.0 or a 2.1 system, I would suggest looking at stereo integrated amplifiers too. Models from Marantz and Denon we know to operate particularly well with our speaker line. Have a look at Denon's PMA-600NE, PMA-900NE and (if you want HDMI switching) the DRA-800H. The following Marantz models offer great functionalty and value too; NR1200 and PM6007. All these models are geared towards the speaker set-up you have and leave out lots of unnecessary features otherwise included for surround sound systems. The results in greater ease of use and increased emphasis on 2 channel performance.

Q: QuestionThe monitor xt series are rated at a 4 ohm impedance, you claim they can work with a 4 & 8 ohm amp/receiver. If i leave my pioneer elite set to 6ohm and above will they cause damage to said amp or must i run it in 4 ohm ?
