“I have the Polk Audio monitor series speakers rated at 30-200 watts. They are listed at 4-8 ohms. I have a Pioneer VSX-935 which is rated at 4-16 ohms. When setting up the speakers it asks if you want 4-6ohm @175watts or 8ohm and above @80watts.Which 1?”

The lower the ohm attainable according to what the amp allows the more power.
