yes, they work with Chromecast audio. I didn't like having to download yet another app to use it with it though. I originally bought the Chromecast audio ($35) and a Rocketfish Bluetooth Receiver ($50) to try them both. It works with BOTH.....BUT, with the Rocketfish made more sense for us....several people using severral devices and no need to download additional apps on every device. Play from existing playlists. If distance is over 30 feet you should use 12 gauge speaker wire for best sound...trust me, it makes a difference. THESE SPEAKERS HAVE AMAZING CLARITY AND SOUND!!! ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!
