It's an 8 ohm sub with a built in internal amplifier. It has sub inputs and speaker level inputs for older systems that don't have sub outputs.

In your case use the speaker level input by running the front LT and front RT from the receiver to the subwoofer, then back out to the front LT and RT speakers.
