“I hooked up the PWS108 to an old stereo and sounds amazing, however I hooked the sub to a new Denon stereo an the subwoofer doesn't sound the same, sounds like is not getting enough power, I changed the cables with same results, any suggestions?”

You may have to adjust the frequency and volume on the back of the unit. Also you should calibrate you Denon receiver to match the room. Denon makes excellent equipment.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The new Denon stereo receivers have a subwoofer pre output, the output level can be adjusted. I would also recommend a RCA Y splitter on the subwoofer end. This can increase the subwoofer output. Go into the menu of the Denon and set distance, low pass filter, and test tone to adjust the volume output.
